Jonathan Schrag

Jonathan Schrag offers bookkeeping consulting services for clients of the Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center. His services include bookkeeping training, QuickBooks setup, cash flow projections, budgeting, sales and meals tax obligations, Harrisonburg and Rockingham property tax form preparation, payroll, and making recommendations for streamlining and organizing bookkeeping-related tasks.

Jonathan has been working in our local community as a bookkeeper for over twenty years and has experience with non-profit and for-profit bookkeeping. Since 2017, Jonathan has been running his own bookkeeping business and currently does bookkeeping for a number of local businesses in various sectors. His teaching style provides hands-on experience with a patient approach that helps business owners to feel more confident in the numbers that their businesses are generating.

Jonathan believes that having clean books provides business owners with an accurate picture of how their business is doing, the confidence to make decisions based on the data, and also saves time and money when having an accountant file their year-end taxes.
