Beverly Otzoy-Wentz – Client Services and Office Operations

Beverly Otzoy-Wentz supports the daily operations and client services of the Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center at James Madison University. She plays a key role in advancing the SVSBDC mission by providing operational, administrative, and fiscal support that enables high-quality service delivery to small businesses across the region.
Beverly serves as a primary point of contact for clients and advisors, assisting with client intake, eligibility screening, advisor referrals, and progress tracking. Her responsibilities include budget support, purchasing and procurement, grant reimbursement documentation, student hiring coordination, payroll reporting, and CRM data management. She also supports event coordination, communications, website updates, travel arrangements, and meeting logistics for advisors and leadership.
With a background in Human Resources and vendor contract management, Beverly brings a people-centered and detail-driven approach to her work. She is known for her organization, confidentiality, strong communication skills, and ability to support complex operations in fast-paced, mission-driven environments.
