After developing a plan for the start, steady growth, or expansion of your business, you must put your plan into action and manage it for success. There is a big difference between “making a profit” and “having cash” – many business owners struggle with understanding that difference and knowing how to have more of both.  Learn how to use the numbers on your financial statements to tell a story about the financial health of your business, how to benchmark your company’s performance and, ultimately, how to predict, manage, and control the financial effects of your day-to-day decisions in order to have more profit and more cash.

Participate in a hands-on activity evaluating the financial health of a hypothetical business based on analysis of key numbers from its financial statements. Also, get an introduction to a new financial analysis tool available to area businesses through the SV SBDC as part of our no-fee, one-on-one consulting services.
