Many companies get into international business almost by accident, others by design. Either way, relevant policies, processes, and practices must be understood.
This two-day program, “Elements of an Export Marketing Plan” is designed for companies that are new-to-export or have been reactive in their approach to international markets. The first day, July 31st, attendees will learn:
1. Practical tips for penetrating new foreign markets and replicating sales.
2. Efficient logistic solutions including when to use a freight forwarder or an expeditor.
3. Legal pitfalls for exporters.
4. How to offer open account terms and get paid.
The date of the second program will be decided by attendees on July 31st. The second day gives select attendees the opportunity to present their export plan to a panel of private and public sector experts. Companies will work intermittently with export promotion partners to build and review their export plan.
