"Do you want fries with that?"

Upselling to a customer doesn't have to mean a routine question.  Like all sales, it means listening, responding actively to customer needs, and knowing your products.

You have an opportunity to educate or expose customers to options they may not have considered. In this Business Smarts session, Steve Hertzenberg (back by popular demand!) provides us with techniques and guidance to approach customers in a proactive (and revenue-producing) manner, where both parties come out happy!

In a career spanning more than 25 years, Steve Hertzenberg has achieved outstanding success in the sales and marketing field and has worked for both large and small organizations in industries ranging from food products to medical devices.  Steve served as Rosetta Stone’s SVP of Global Sales and Marketing, where he helped drive  revenues from $11M to almost $150M in 5 years. Steve now teaches at JMU, where his highly regarded Professional Selling class has helped countless students land sales positions with Fortune 500 companies as well as numerous small businesses throughout the region.
