Can you think about strategic planning in the midst of uncertainty?  If you do, what form should it take?

Strategic planning is never easy, and these days it’s hard to think about the future when you are working in survival mode.

But strategy and assessment are important for both short and long-term sustainable growth and success. Strategic planning can help you map your path to success.

This presentation is designed as a broad-based introduction to strategic planning for businesses and nonprofit organizations. The session will cover:

  • The purpose of strategic planning
  • Best practices in the strategic planning process
  • Key steps and elements to consider

Presenters Maria Paz G. Esguerra, Ph.D. and Rollin G. Johnson Jr. are the co-principals of Kensington Strickland Group, LLC. At Kensington Strickland, our mission is to instigate positive change in our world.

Maria Paz is a consultant and facilitator working with organizations on strategic planning, institutional assessment, and capacity building. With over a decade of experience, Maria Paz has worked in the higher education and non-profit sectors. She has a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.
