One of your greatest advantages as a small business owner is the ability to face daily challenges that could take a large corporation much longer to overcome. That being said, large corporations have greater access to resources to deal with those challenges. Therefore as a small business owner, you must learn to work smarter, not harder. Learn how using your strengths can make you more efficient and ready to face those challenges, with the added bonus of improving your sense of well-being.

At the end of this session, attendees will:

  • Be able to identify key benefits of using strengths in the workplace.
  • Understand the strengths-based philosophy and how it links to performance and well-being.
  • Explore five clues to talent in your own life and how they can be built into strengths.
  • Be able to identify assessments you can use to discover their strengths.

Presenter Jason Boron has designed and conducted strengths-based leadership coaching focused on helping teams and individuals leverage their talents since 2007. He has presented on a variety of topics in both the higher education and non-profit sectors, including leadership development, effective communication, conflict resolution, collaboration, performance enhancement, and coaching. As a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, he is committed to providing experiential learning opportunities to individuals and teams aimed at improving performance. Before founding Leading Strong, LLC in 2017, Jason served in higher education for over 15 years.
