About UsThe Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center (SV SBDC) is where business comes to talk business in the Shenandoah Valley. SV SBDC Mission Statement: We are one of 29 centers across Virginia providing professional business counseling, training and information resources to help grow and strengthen Virginia businesses. The Virginia SBDC Network is the most extensive business development program in the Commonwealth. The SV SBDC has two offices to serve you. Our service area includes the counties of Augusta, Bath, Highland, Page, Rockbridge, Rockingham, and Shenandoah, and the cities therein.
The SV SBDC is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
We also receive programmatic and financial support from George Mason University, James Madison University, Blue Ridge Community College, the City of Harrisonburg, Rockingham County, Augusta County, Page County, Highland County, and local business partners.
