This page provides directions to both SV SBDC offices plus all of our class or event locations.

The JMU SBDC office - Harrisonburg -

The BRCC SBDC office - Fishersville

JMU SBDC:

The Harrisonburg (JMU) office of the Shenandoah Valley SBDC is located at 1598 S. Main Street (Rt. 11) mid-way between Port Republic Road and Pleasant Hill Road.

JMU SBDC via I-81, Traveling from the south:

From I-81, take Harrisonburg Exit 243. At intersection of Rt 11 (Main Street), turn right.
Go approximately 1.9 miles; watch for Harrisonburg Motor Cars and Green’s Coin Laundry on your right. Turn right into the laundry parking lot.
The SBDC is in the brick building adjacent to Green’s Laundry. Look for the purple and white JMU/SBDC signs.

JMU SBDC via I-81, Traveling from the north:

From I-81, take Harrisonburg Exit 245 (JMU exit).
At top of exit ramp, turn right onto Port Republic Road.
Turn left onto Main Street (Rt 11).
Go approximately .5 miles; watch for Wendy’s and other restaurants on your left.
Turn left into parking lots between the Bourbon Street on Main Restaurant and Green’s Coin Laundry.
The SBDC is in the brick building adjacent to Green’s Laundry. Look for the purple and white JMU/SBDC signs.

JMU SBDC, From Rt 33 East of the City

Turn onto University Boulevard, between the Valley Mall and KMart.
Follow University Boulevard through several lights; at one of them you will cross Reservoir Street and see Costco on your left.
Continue on University Boulevard past University buildings, the Arboretum (on your left), and the Convocation Center/parking lot (on your right). It will wind around and up and down.
At the Days Inn, make the sharp right turn to arrive at the light at Port Republic Road. Turn Right.
Cross the Interstate bridge, pass the JMU entrance and continue to the stop light at Main Street (Rt. 11). Turn left.
Go approximately .5 miles; watch for Wendy’s and other restaurants on your left. Just past the Bourbon Street on Main Restaurant, turn left into the parking lot for Green's Coin Laundry.

JMU Festival Conference Center:

JMU Festival Center, From I-81, Exit 245:

From the north: Turn left onto Port Republic Road, cross the interstate and immediately get into left turning lane.
From the south: Turn right onto Port Republic Road and immediately get into left turning lane. Make a left onto Forest Hill Rd. At the stop sign, make a left onto Oak Hill Rd and continue around the curve (turns into University Blvd). The Convocation Center will be on the left followed by the Arboretum on the right. Make a left at the JMU entrance onto Carrier Drive. The Festival Conference Center 0.25 mile on the left.

JMU Festival Center, From East 33:

Take University Blvd between Valley Mall and K-Mart (left if traveling west, right if traveling east.) Go through three stoplights. Make a right at the JMU entrance onto Carrier Drive. The Festival Conference College Center is 0.25 mile on the left

BRCC Harrisonburg Center

From Interstate 81, take Exit 247B onto Market Street (Route 33 West). Proceed toward downtown.
Turn right (North) on Mason Street. The Harrisonburg Center is located on the right-
directly across from the parking deck-at the corner of North Mason and Wolfe Streets. (Map)

PBGH LLP (site of QuickBooks training classes)

558 S. Main Street, Harrisonburg.  From Interstate 81, take Exit 245 (JMU Exit) and turn west. Go past the JMU entrance to the next stop light at Main Street (Rt. 11). Turn right and follow Main Street approx .7 miles. The Harrisonburg Baptist Church is on your left; PBGH is on your right.  Turn right into their parking lot and enter the building through the front entrance to be directed to the training room. National College - 1515 Country Club Road

From I-81, Exit 247A to Rt 33E.  Immediately cross Rt 33 to the left turning lane so you can turn onto Linda Lane.  Go past Lowe's; turn left at the stop light onto Country Club Road.  National College will be ahead on your left.
OR
From I-81, Exit 247B to Rt 33W.  From Rt 33, turn right at the 2nd stop light onto Carlton Street. Then right onto Country Club Road.  Proceed under the interstate bridge and National College will be ahead on your right. Ending at 1515 Country Club Rd.

BRCC SBDC:

The Fishersville (BRCC) office of the Shenandoah Valley SBDC is located in the BRCC Augusta Center on the campus of Augusta Health in Fishersville, between Interstate 64 and Route 250. Map

From Interstate-81, take either exit 221 (I-64) or exit 222 (Hwy 250/Jefferson Hwy). See below.

From Interstate-64, use Exit 91 (Rt 608/Tinkling Springs Road):
Turn north and travel approximately .8 mile. 
(Note: Do not turn onto Goose Creek Road, which is the main entrance to Augusta Medical Center). 
Continue on Tinkling Springs Road and turn left on Mule Academy Road. 
Turn left on Sports Medicine Drive and then take the first right into the parking area, which has “BRCC Parking” and “Small Business Development Center” signs at the entrance.
Enter the Lifetime Education building at the BRCC Entrance.  Make an immediate right, down the corridor and past the fitness center. Turn left at the first hallway. The SBDC office is in room 140 on your right.

from Rt 250, traveling east from I-81: 
Go approximately 3.4 miles to the light at Mule Academy Road.
Turn right and go approximately .5 mile.
Turn right on Sports Medicine Drive, and then the first right into the parking area, which has “BRCC Parking” and “Small Business Development Center” signs at the entrance.
Enter the Lifetime Education building at the BRCC Entrance.  Make an immediate right, down the corridor and past the fitness center. Turn left at the first hallway. The SBDC office is in room 140 on your right.

from Rt 250, traveling west (from Wayneboro):
Turn left onto Tinkling Springs Road (Rt 608).
Turn right on Mule Academy Road.
Turn left on Sports Medicine Drive and then right into the parking area, which has "BRCC Parking" and "Small Business Development Center" signs at the entrance.
Enter the Lifetime Education building at the BRCC Entrance.  Make an immediate right, down the corridor and past the fitness center. Turn left at the first hallway. The SBDC office is in room 140 on your right.

SBDC Counseling at the Augusta County Government Offices

From the North on Interstate-81:
Use exit 227 (Verona). At the end of the off-ramp, merge right onto Laurel Hill Road (Route 612). At the second traffic light, turn left onto Lee Highway (Route 11). At the next traffic light, turn left onto Government Center Lane. After crossing the railroad tracks, turn right into the Government Center Complex and enter the main doors.
From the South on Interstate-81:
Use 225 (Woodrow Wilson Parkway). Turn left onto Woodrow Wilson Parkway (Route 262/275). At the first traffic light, turn right onto Lee Highway (Route 11). At the second traffic light, turn right on to Government Center Lane. After crossing the railroad tracks, turn right into the Government Center Complex and enter the main doors.

Once inside the main doors, go to the stairway and walk down to the next level. At the bottom of the stairway, make a right and follow the signs for Steve Landes’ office (make a left down a long hallway, then take the 1st left you come to). You will go past Steve Landes’ office on the way to the County Attorney’s Board Room. There will be an overhead hanging sign for the Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center. Someone at the information desk on the main floor will be able to direct you further if necessary, or you can reach the Government Center at 540-245-5600.

Blue Ridge Community College Robert E. Plecker Workforce Center

Take Exit 235 off Interstate 81. Turn west at the top of the exit ramp (Route 256) and then left (south) on U.S. Route 11.  Go approximately one half-mile, using the South entrance to the BRCC campus. Follow the drive to the parking lots for the Workforce Center (ahead and to your left). Enter the front door of the Plecker Center and check the announcement board or receptionist for the room assignment. (Map))

SCORE offices, Waynesboro:

301 W. Main Street, housing SCORE, Waynesboro Downtown Development, Economic Development, and Office of Tourism.

From I-64: Use Exit 94 (Rt 340-Rosser Ave). Follow Rosser Ave. into Waynesboro until you see Burger King on the left and a BP station on the right. Cross Main Street (Rt 250) and follow Broad Street to the 2nd stop light at Wayne Ave. Turn right and go about ½ block and turn left on Spring Lane. Go to end of street.  There is a small parking lot on the right. This is the back of our building and you may enter from the back.
