This workshop presents an overview of the two basic requirements—Small/Micro Certification and eVA Registration—for a small business to be in position to conduct business with the state government as well as many local governments within the state.
It also highlights tips and best practices for selecting the appropriate commodity codes, analyzing the market potential for your particular business, targeting the buyers in specific state agencies which buy the goods and/or services your company provides, and seamlessly navigating Virginia’s eProcurement Portal to maximize your opportunities for state and local government business.
