October 12 2010, 8:30 am - 3:15 pm | JMU Memorial Hall, Hiner RoomPractical skills for effective leadership - The NPI offers a professional development certificate program for leaders and managers in non-profit organizations throughout the Shenandoah Valley.
Each course in the Institute is designed to:
- Promote the effectiveness of non-profit leaders, including executive directors, CEOs, managers, and Board members
- Refine the skills of experienced directors as well as help prepare entry level managers for new roles in the organization
- Enhance current job performance by providing a "tool box" of practical skills and knowledge for day-to-day operations
- Promote excellence in non-profit management
Dates: Second Tuesday of each month, October 2010-April 2011
Location: James Madison University Memorial Hall, Hiner Room, 395 S. High St, Harrisonburg, VA
Fee: $350/person (limited partial scholarships may be available; see the Institute link below for application)
