Keeping the Books

In this workshop, we'll review the basic functions of a good bookkeeping system. You'll learn how the chart of accounts works and how to record (and match) revenues & expenses and receipts & disbursements. We'll cover the end-of-period closings and how financial reports are created and how to read them.
This seminar is not software-specific and will apply to any manual or computerized accounting system. It is an excellent foundation course for QuickBooks training.
Though not required, you may want to bring a small hand-held calculator to this class.
